Mariano D´Angelo, PhD
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow

Research

Mariano’s research in the Brain, Body and Self Laboratory focuses on the link between temporal resolution of perception and body ownership. In particular, he is interested in the role of cortical oscillations in temporally integrating multisensory information to generate the sense of body ownership. This topic is addressed by using behavioural approaches, EEG and brain stimulation techniques. His PhD at the University of Bologna and Birkbeck, University of London investigated the role of one’s own body representation in interpersonal attitudes and believes.
